Dauphin County Technical School

Do you like working with your hands? Do you enjoy those classes were you get to create? If you answered "yes" to these questions, Dauphin County Technical School (DCTS) maybe worth looking into for you. People often have the wrong impression of DCTS... it is the school kids go to when they can't make it at a "real" high school, it is only for those kids that want to go into the trades, etc. etc. etc. These statements are SO far from the truth. Many students that attend DCTS go on to 2 or 4 year schools following high school graduation, but there are also many students that begin working in well-paying jobs directly out of high school. There are 7 different academies to choose from, with 25 different programs within these academies.

Check out www.dcts.org for more information. Deadlines for the 2021-2022 school year are fast approaching.

If you have questions, please reach out to Mrs. Doyle or your school counselor.
